Irony!

Alright,

Sorry if I got anyones hopes up but this isn't going to be a long post. I just saw something though that I had to comment on.

Just now as I was walking back from getting my breakfast a UN SUV passed me. Then in the back window what do I see? A nice old picture of Sadaam Hussein baby! How is that for irony, considering the UN put sanctions on his regime for only, hmmm, about 12 years. Good stuff.

Oh also, I heard from all of the American grad schools. I got into GW, but didn't receive any scholarships so it looks like it is still between Chicago and Michigan. Inside sources say Chicago is opening a gap in the polls, but we'll have to see what happens in the next few weeks.

I leave for Ethiopia in two days!! I bought a 1gb memory stick for my camera the other day, so unless I take over 400+ pics, I should be good to go. And yes, I will be keeping my eyes open for Haile, Kenny B, Shihine and the rest of the gang. Considering I've been run 3 times in the past 2 weeks and played football twice, I think I could give them a run for their money.

hey, just wanted to let you know that we had a little scare the other day...Steve the Pug needed to be recusitated...he had stopped breathing. But no worries, I gave him another energy pill and some CPR, and he is doing just fine, although he is a little sleepy at the moment. All is well.

Kenny B DNFed world XCs today, so you may be able to hang with him. Have an awesome time on your mini-vacation!

Oh yeah - I just checked and it is only 4.5 hrs from AA to Chicago by Amtrack. Not too bad. Apparently a bunch of Katie's friends go to Chicago semi-regularly. Good luck in your decision.

PS - I had one of my crazy vivid dreams while I passed out on the coach today. You came back to visit and had a beard!

congratz on grad school! deciding between two awesome schools is no joke!

i have been a diligent- if quiet- reader of this blog. keep it up! also, i need weekly updates on your football matches. especially ones involving: fights, club teams, people being clubbed, tae kwon do, and children.

are you at a disadvantage for not chewing qat before matches?
